Cassie serves as the Administrative Operations Manager & Student Programs Coordinator for Florida Sea Grant. In this senior role, she is a vital thought partner responsible for advancing the program’s operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives across Florida and the region. She also serves as FSG’s Student Programs Coordinator, overseeing the full lifecycle of student fellowships, scholarships, and internships, serving as the project manager for proposal requests and student/professional development. She also leads communication and outreach efforts for student programming to enhance engagement and program visibility.

Cassie grew up on Florida’s Space Coast, inspiring her love for coastal environments. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and finding new adventures wherever she can. She is passionate about traveling and immersing herself in the cultures of the world, and is also an avid writer in her free time.

Cassie holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Florida.
