Dean John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship. The 2010 grant opportunity for the John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship has been published and can be accessed at: http://www.seagrant.noaa.gov/funding/rfp.html. Students in Florida institutions must apply through Florida Sea Grant. Applications are due at Florida Sea Grant February 20, 2009 by 4:00 PM EST. Earlier applications are strongly recommended. NMFS-Sea Grant Fellowship on Population Dynamics. The 2009 grant opportunity has been published and can be accessed at: http://www.seagrant.noaa.gov/funding/rfp.html. Applications from prospective fellows at Florida institutions are due at the Florida Sea Grant Office by 4:00 PM EDT, January 30, 2009.
   
  NOAA Coastal Management Fellowship. This graduate student opportunity is now open. Applications are due October 17, 2008. Information regarding the fellowship can be found at http://www.csc.noaa.gov/cms/fellows.html.
   
  Aylesworth and Old Salt Student Scholarships -- Applications are due November 3, 2008 by 4:00 PM.

Skoch Scholarship - Awarded to a Florida high school senior who plans to major in a coastal-related field of study at a Florida university or college. Awards based on competition in the State Science and Engineering Fair.
SG Industry Fellowships. This 2006 opportunity has been withdrawn due to inadequate federal appropriations to fund the program. Details are at the National Sea Grant web site.
