Tide predictions for
Southwest Florida anchorages

   Steps in determining the predicted tides for anchorages in Southwest Florida:

1. Go to the tide table to find the time and height offsets for the anchorage of interest. Be sure to note the gauging station it is referenced to!

2. Go to one of the sites listed below to determine the tidal information for the reference station noted above.

3. For tide times: Add the offset time you found in Step 1 to the reference time you found in Step 2. This will be the predicted time of the tide.

4. For tide heights: Multiply the tide height you found for the reference station found in Step 2 by the "height ratio" number you found on the table in Step 1. This will be the predicted tide height for your location.
