Intruders in Paradise: Invasive Species in Florida, A Teacher's Guide
Provides information about invasive species through 12 classroom activities and supporting materials designed for middle school use. Each activity addresses specific Sunshine State Standards and Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) benchmarks for grades 6-8. From the Tampa Bay Estuary Program, the Florida Aquarium, and Florida Sea Grant.

COSEE
National site for Centers for Ocean Science Education Excellence, a new initiative from the National Science Foundation to bridge the gap between ocean science research and education.The seven COSEE centers nationwide integrate the science community's expertise into professional development opportunities for K-16 marine science teachers and inquiry-based educational materials for their students. Since the inception of the COSEE Network, Florida Sea Grant has been a partner in the COSEE - Central Gulf of Mexico, providing teacher workshops on ocean science throughout the state of Florida.
