The Florida Marine Biotechnology Summit V has concluded. We invite you to watch a brief summary of the program. The information posted below will remain for archival purposes. See the slideshow here.

This biennial event showcases statewide and national research achievements concerning biotechnology as it addresses the processes and products of the ocean. Themes include human health, medicines, environmental quality, seafood safety, biosensors, fisheries, aquaculture and biomedical research. It is the only meeting of its kind in the nation. Seventeen plenary speakers and panelists from some of the leading programs in Florida and the United States will be joined by authors of 27 scientific posters addressing marine biotechnology.

As part of the BioFlorida annual conference, the Summit affords academics a great chance to network with business interests. Attendees get two outstanding meetings for the price of one!
