All three species are similar in appearance with exception to stomach morphology
(Blue Tang, Ocean Surgeon). The blue tang is a presented as an example of surgeonfish morphology.

The internal anatomy of the surgeonfish is dominated by a thin-walled, tightly coiled intestine. The liver and pyloric caecae are also visible.
